Here’s a fun composition of two petroglyphs taken at the magnificent Owl Panel near Moab. It appears that this hunter is taking aim with his bow and arrow at the bighorn sheep at the other end of the petroglyph panel.
Owl In the Corner
Here’s a unique perspective that shows off the main figures found in the large Owl Panel near Moab. The largest figure is about five feet tall and all of these carvings are well executed and very well preserved.
The Owl Panel
Here’s a unique perspective of the Owl Panel located near Moab. This photos shows the main portion of the panel that includes the precision-carved owl petroglyphs along with a much larger life-sized anthropomorph. There appears to be two smaller bird-like figures and, of course, plenty of your typical bighorn sheep, too. This is an awesome panel that I really need to get back to again soon.
